Oroen, Hericule, Ursva, Pegosee, Cygvon, and Midisee

“...Somehow, however, (man) has managed to shut out
the face of the giant from his windows.
But the giant is there, nevertheless
."
~Wallace Stevens

Oroen {or’oh’en} is the fifth planet in line from Tyrenollo and Stelunops. It is also the largest planet in the Ali’fantasea System {al’ih’fan’tay’shuh}. A few, sparse rings circle Oroen’s atmosphere, and there are five moons that keep it company (to be listed later).
The planet is an imposing presence in the System, let alone its five other companions.

Life exists on Oroen, and has for millenia. In fact, life came to this planet at the same time that life was arriving on TaeAra, and both are old planets by Ali’fantasea’s measures.
Numerous civilizations call Oroen home. Among those, there are several that are dominant even on standards beyond its surface.

(TO BE CONTINUED...)

TaeAra, Ceiphra and Pirveos

TaeAra {tay'ah'ruh} is the fourth planet in line from the binary suns.
Its moons are Ceiphra {see'fruh}, which has its own rings, and Pirveos {peer'vee'os}.

I will, at this point, refer readers to http://tae-ara.blogspot.com/ in order for you to get more detail on this planet. The details will be given through story formats. Please refer any questions to my email; author.c.rorke@gmail.com
I will gladly release bits of information (per my discretion, of course) at your request whenever I have time.

Know that civilizations and individuals on TaeAra play a key roles in a majority of my stories that I hope to soon publish. I will therefore spend significant more time establishing TaeAra in the minds of my readers.

Jaynisa and Inumii

Looking for and enjoying beauty is a way to nourish the soul.
The universe is in the habit of making beauty
...”
~Matthew Fox
-
Jaynisa {jay’niss’uh; emphasis on jay, and nisa is run together} is the third planet in line from the binary suns of Tyrenollo {teer’en’o’lo} and Stelunops. It is also the fourth largest planet in the System (Ali’fantasea).
It is considered one of the more beautiful life-sustaining planets in Ali’fantasea, and the civilizations of her surface would not disagree.

Jaynisa is very colorful, but with shades of purple being most common. She is also a fragrant planet, due to the particular forms of plant-life that cover majority of the planet’s surface.
There are very few high mountain ranges. Most of the land is mildly hilly. Ghetti {g’eddy} is a large region that is relatively dry – ranging from tall grasses and shrubs, to the desert sands of Pharea {fair’ee’uh} (although Pharea does have portions that are lush). Gaalaya {gal’ay’uh} is more lush but also relatively open. Grovidia {grow’vidd’ee’uh} is patchy with thick, lush forests, and open meadows. Dri’aira {drr’ih’air’uh} is mostly forested.
In all cases, though, the landscape is very foreign. The blossoms are vibrant and widely assorted (even in Pharea – the desert sands drift in colorful shades, ranging from gold to purple). The leaves (whether that is of trees, bushes, or grasses) are large but not much is too extremely tall. The tree trunks are not often straight, but rather curve and twist. Not that they are gnarled and ugly – rather, they appear more artistic and graceful in their growth.

Life came to Jaynisa after the civilizations of TaeAra (planet) and Oroen (planet) had already been established for many centuries (and those of LiThrair were progressing steadily). In fact, Jaynisa’s cultures were entirely influenced by TaeAra.
A group of 4 magicians/wisemen from four realms of TaeAra (specifically Daerah*, Nasalia*, Eloria*, and Zalimara*) found a way to travel to Jaynisa in her Early Age. They lived among the first inhabitants and taught them many things that helped them progress as a people.
As Jaynisa grew older, the inhabitants separated into four different civilizations; each taking after the wiseman that they had respected most. Their cultures then strongly reflected the culture of that particular man, and their languages are direct copies of those on TaeAra.

Jaynisa was named, like Hedurn, by Daerinic** magicians of Daerah (planet TaeAra). They found the planet while they studied the night sky in hopes that they would discover magical secrets in the Heavens. Jaynisa was the name of the Crilecs’** Goddess of Femininity.

One moon orbits Jaynisa, and that is Inumii {in’oo’mee}.
Inumii has rings, which are breathtaking to view at night. Inumii is a Daerinic word that means “Loyal Child”.

Hedurn

Be able to be alone.
Lose not the advantage of solitude,
and the society of thyself
.”
~Sir Thomas Browne
-
Hedurn {hed’urn}is the second planet in line from the binary stars of the Ali’fantasea System {al’ih’fan’tay’shuh}. It is the third largest planet in the System, but looks larger due to its vast expanses of rings orbiting its gaseous atmosphere.
Hedurn does not have life, nor can it ever sustain life. And it does not have any moons to keep it company. Hedurn’s rings are its only companion in its quiet part of the System.

The planet was named by Daerinic* magicians of TaeAra (planet) who studied astronomy intently in hopes that they would discover magical secrets in the Heavens. Hedurn was a legendary Z’rak’n** Sentinel, and hero of the Battle of Tenns.

Nuuba and Mlundo

My pleasant things in ashes lie
And them behold no more shall I.”
~Anne Dudley Bradstreet
-
Nuuba, pronounced {new’buh}, is the closest planet to the binary stars of Tyrenollo {teer’en’o’lo} and Stelunops {stel’un’ops}.
It is the smallest planet in the Ali’fantasea System {al’ih’fan’tay’shuh}, and has no rings.
Life existed long, long ago. But the two suns’ gravitation pull gradually brought Nuuba too close to their intense heat. ...Charred ruins are all that remain.
Nuuba was named by its ancient inhabitants, the Rigoyan(s)*. The word nuuba meant “Life Giver”.
This planet has one moon that still orbits its unwelcoming surface; Mlundo
Mlundo {meh’loon’doe} was also named by the ancient Rigoyans. The word mlundo was a word in their language that referred to the moon’s illumination.

Tyrenollo and Stelunops

"...You cannot paint sunlight..."
~Willa Cather

At the heart of the Ali'fantasea System {al'ih'fan'tay'shuh} are the binary stars, Tyrenollo {teer'en'o'lo} and Stelunops {stel'un'ops}

Tyrenollo is the larger of the two. It is named after a Kenarian* god who was “King of the Heavens, and all Therein”. Tyrenollo was the elder brother of Stelunops.
Stelunops is the smaller star that rotates around its larger companion. It is named after a Kenarian* god also. Stelunops was the “Prince of Day”. According to myth, he was always a loyal friend and servant to his older brother, Tyrenollo.

Introduction to Ali'fantasea

Ali'fantasea is a distant solar system found in the Maede Sector of our local universe. The System orbits the binary stars, Tyrenollo and Stelunops. Eight planets make up Ali'fantasea; Nuuba, Hedurn, Jaynisa, (TaeAra), Oroen, Andruun, Muriphon, and LiThrair.

Nuuba {new'buh}, the smallest planet, contained life long ago. At present, it exists only as a charred orb of ruins. A single moon, Mlundo {mm'loon'do}, orbits its darkened surface.

Hedurn {hed'urn} is a gas giant with sparse rings whirling around its perimiter, but little else to speak of.

Jaynisa {jay'niss'uh} contains life, as well as a sweet, but subtle, fragrance to the air. Inumii {in'oo'me} is this world's moon, which has a small system of rings beyond its cold surface.

TaeAra {tay'aar'uh} contained life, and still may harbor remnants of its ancient and powerful civilizations, but has tragically become separated from its home in Ali'fantasea. Currently its whereabouts are unknown, but is sought after by many space explorers and treasure hunters. Yet none search as diligently for it as Lord Ae'zyen of the Arsentrian Empire (whose immortality began millenia ago on the surface of TaeAra when it was still young).
TaeAra has two moons; Ceiphra {see'fruh} (which has rings), and Pirveos {peer'vee'os}.

Oroen {or'oh'en} is the largest of the Ali'fantasean worlds. It has a few dusty rings, as well as five moons; Midisee {mid'ih'see} (with horizontal rings), Cygvon {sig'von}, Pegosee {peg'oh'see} (with vertical rings), Hericule {hare'ih'kool}, and Ursva {oor'ss'vuh} (which now sustains life).
Oroen has contained, and still contains several large civilizations. It was TaeAra's rival for many centuries until TaeAra's catacalysm. It remains a very influencial world within the Arsentrian "universe".

Andruun {ann'droon} was the last planet to receive life. The original civilizations remain still. There is an extensive ring system that spins around this planet, and there are three moons orbiting; Airikibo {air’ih’kee’bo}, Aysvee (has rings) {ay’ss’vee}, and Ammeric {am'er'ik} (can sustain life).

Muriphon {mur'ih'fon} is another gas giant with 45degree rings. It has two moons; Oreza {or’eh’zuh}, Oserom {oss’er’om}

LiThrair {lih'th'rare} is the Ali'fantasea's last planet. Though it is so far out, it still maintains numerous civilizations. 4 moons inhabit the space around this beautiful world; 4 moons – Surliina {ser’leen’uh} (has life now, and rings), MaGallo {mah’gal’oh} (has rings), Thripheer {th’ri’feer} (very hot - provides the heat for the planet), and Suruntine {sur’oon’tine} (can sustain life).
