Nuuba and Mlundo

My pleasant things in ashes lie
And them behold no more shall I.”
~Anne Dudley Bradstreet
-
Nuuba, pronounced {new’buh}, is the closest planet to the binary stars of Tyrenollo {teer’en’o’lo} and Stelunops {stel’un’ops}.
It is the smallest planet in the Ali’fantasea System {al’ih’fan’tay’shuh}, and has no rings.
Life existed long, long ago. But the two suns’ gravitation pull gradually brought Nuuba too close to their intense heat. ...Charred ruins are all that remain.
Nuuba was named by its ancient inhabitants, the Rigoyan(s)*. The word nuuba meant “Life Giver”.
This planet has one moon that still orbits its unwelcoming surface; Mlundo
Mlundo {meh’loon’doe} was also named by the ancient Rigoyans. The word mlundo was a word in their language that referred to the moon’s illumination.
